Upon joining the club, you will be issued a yellow membership card until you are signed off as a safe flier by a club instructor/member.  If you are already an experienced R/C pilot, this should only take one flight.  Yellow card members must have a blue card BARCS pilot flying with them (ready to take over).  A blue card is issued to all soloed pilots.  We do this to ensure everyone's safety, and to respect the no-fly areas at our field.   The club does not have formal flight instruction, however there are several members that are willing to help and offer some instruction.  If you need help contact the President by email and he will try and connect you with a mentor.  The email address is presatbarcs.org.
