Announcing a lifesaving, fundraising campaign with a “kickoff” gift from The Stephen and Renee Bisciotti Foundation to help BARCS through our most challenging year yet.

This year, we must increase our funding in order to operate our shelter and save lives at the rates of which they are coming in. It’s our immediate goal to raise an additional $500,000 by the end of the year to save all of the adoptable animals that come into our shelter.

The Stephen and Renee Bisciotti Foundation and the Baltimore Ravens are teaming up to help us reach this increased and critical funding goal. The Stephen and Renee Bisciotti Foundation has contributed $100,000 as a “Kickoff” to BARCS’ “Kickoff to Save Lives” campaign.

We are incredibly grateful to the Bisciotti Foundation and the Baltimore Ravens for quarterbacking this campaign. Together with our community, we are going to persevere through this year’s obstacles… and we can’t think of a better “team” to make that happen than the compassionate and generous community of Baltimore!

Activities will include helping lift, carry and set up tents, tables and decorations; helping us weed and pick up the outdoor dog walking areas; assisting the staff with cleaning inside of the shelter and animal rooms; and, for those volunteers comfortable walking large dogs, helping with potty breaks. Volunteers are free to stay afterward to enjoy the event and see animals get chosen and taken home with their new families! Please sign up through the Baltimore Ravens "Caw to Action" link.
