Dan’s love and dedication for animals was inspiring, and we know he would be overjoyed to see so many of them finding loving homes.

Multi-Shelter Mega Adoption Event
🐾 Mark your calendar for Sunday, March 15, from 12–4 PM for a Multi-Shelter Mega Adoption Event sponsored by Petco Love and hosted by BARCS, with the venue donated by Kimco Realty. We’re partnering with Maryland SPCA, Baltimore County Animal Services, Humane Society of Carroll County, and The Humane Society of Harford County for one big event filled with adoptable animals ready to meet you.
The event will be held at Towson Place Shopping Center, 1238 Putty Hill Ave, #5 (formerly Walmart), Towson. Adoption fees will be WAIVED for all animals — including dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and small companion animals.

Pick a Paw Adoption Event at Webber's Farm
Spend the afternoon among fresh farm air, local treats, and maybe your new best friend at the Pick a Paw Adoption Event at Weber’s Cider Mill Farm! We’ll have some of the sweetest cats and dogs available for adoption ready to meet you from 12–4 PM. While you browse the farm’s harvest, preserves, baked goods, and other curiosities, swing by to say hi, give some snuggles, and maybe find a furry companion to take home. 21st Annual BARCStoberfest
Celebrating 21 Years of Baltimore's Largest Pet-Friendly Festival on Saturday, October 25, 2025! BARCStoberfest is so much more than just a "W-A-L-K" in the park... it's a 5K run, a beer garden, a family friendly festival with games and entertainment, but most importantly an annual fundraising lifeline for thousands of animals at BARCS.

The BARCS BFF Waggin’ is rolling into PetSmart Towson on October 21 from 4–8PM for PetSmart National Adoption Week, giving you the chance to meet adorable adoptable animals and see if your new best friend is waiting for you. If you’ve registered for the 21st BARCStoberfest and raised or donated at least $50, stop by to pick up your shirt and swag bag while saying hi to the pups and kitties. Plus, the William H.
