The Runway Has Gone to the Dogs… and Cats!

Yes, it’s back!

Pawject Runway is a high-energy fundraiser and adoption event bringing together adoptable dogs and cats from the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) with Show Your Soft Side’s “Big Softies,” including pro athletes, media personalities, musicians, and local leaders. Big Softies walk animals down the runway, help share their stories, and spark real connections that often lead to forever homes.

For more than a decade, this bi-annual event has supported lifesaving at BARCS, Maryland’s largest open-admission shelter, and Show Your Soft Side’s national mission to prevent animal violence by redefining strength as compassion.

Before the Runway Kicks Off, There’s a LOT to Do:

📸 Interactive photo booths for all your fluffy photo ops

🎟️ An over-the-top, high-end basket raffle (the kind where you want literally everything in the baskets)

🏡 Meet and adopt the animals you see on the runway
