Bonds That Last Furever

Once in a while, a heartwarming connection between souls blossoms, and life becomes incomplete without each other. Such is the case for our bonded pairs of animals. Their bond is so strong that they find comfort, safety, affection, and endless companionship in each other and losing their beloved companion affects their entire world. That's why we insist on adopting 'Bonded Pairs' together. It's a special kind of magic—one that doesn't just bring you one friend but two, along with their unique bond to fill your home with warmth and joy.

The following Happy Tail is from a family who welcomed a bonded pair into their lives. It shares the adoption story of Sweet Caroline and Meyer, a cherished bonded pair now happily settled in their loving home:

“We adopted Aurora and Bruce (formerly Sweet Caroline and Meyer) as a bonded pair back in April of 2023 after saying goodbye to our sweet 18-year-old dogs earlier in the year. We all missed our girls so much and knew we had to rescue again.

“The moment I saw 'bonded pair,' I was smitten, as my old girls were also so bonded that I had to apply. It turns out they were in foster, so we took our three young kids to meet them. Rory and Bruce were jumpy, full of energy, and quite big—very different from our former dogs! I just knew our home, energy level, and large rural property would be perfect for them.

“Rory is a sweet girl who carries around her favorite pink piggy toy and will knock you over with her passionate kisses! Bruce is simply hilarious and the most patient and kind-hearted dude. When we got them, they were around 70 pounds and very thin, and now they’re both weighing in at around a healthy 100 pounds! They go for a run every morning and are incredibly active; it’s like they’re totally new dogs! They are both my shadow and love to be at my feet while I’m cooking or doing really anything. Their little snores at night are music to my ears (maybe not my husband's).

“Rory and Bruce have helped to heal our hearts and brought laughter and joy to our family right when we needed it. They are SO full of life!”

Thank you to Rory and Bruce’s family for keeping their unique bond together and opening your hearts to them.

Consider opening your heart and home to a bonded pair, and experience the double delight they bring to your life. Because sometimes, the best things come in pairs!
