Abe's Happy Tail

Dear BARCS,

On Valentine's Day of 2016, we adopted Abe (known at BARCS as Peanut). It was also Presidents' Day weekend, which is why we named him Abe. He has brought so much love and happiness into our little family in almost three years. Abe was such a skinny, shy boy when we took him home. He has become such a loving, happy go lucky cuddlebug, always making you be in a good mood. He loves to play with his pup brother, Brodie, and his cat brother, Dasher. Because of Abe, Brodie became a happier dog. He gives so many kisses and brightens up our day! He has truly changed our lives in the best way.

This year, BARCS is dedicating Giving Tuesday donations to our Love Lasts Forever Program, which supports the care of homeless senior animals and sponsors their adoption fees in order to shorten their stay at the shelter and find them loving homes.

To kickoff Giving Tuesday, the Nancy Sherertz Family Foundation has pledged to match all donations dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000 from now through Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Give today or tomorrow to take part in the match and help save senior animals!
