Community Partnership Spotlight: The Transformation Center
Today, we want to give a very special “thank you” to our good friends at The Transformation Center. On the first Saturday of every month, The Transformation Center generously allows BARCS to host our monthly low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic. Many of the pet owners in attendance expressed gratitude for the convenient location of The Transformation Center and the fact that they didn’t need transportation to get their beloved furry family members the lifesaving vaccines they need.
At November’s clinic, an incredible 311 animals received critical, preventative medical care—the most we’ve ever helped in one clinic!
Our long-standing, low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic is an essential part of BARCS' mission to serve pet owners in our community. Each year, BARCS’ monthly low-cost public vaccine and microchip clinic serves more than 3,000 owned pets in our community. Vaccine prices range from $6-$10 in order to allow pet owners to provide their animals with proper care. Pet owners can also have their pets microchipped at the clinics as well as purchase and renew their Baltimore City Pet License(s). We look forward to growing our clinic in the coming months and helping more animals live healthy, happy lives in the homes they already have!
